AFT Licenses for live trading modes

The AFT8 live licensing is being enforced tentatively as we don’t want to upset the boat and knock people off eval and live trading and miss a move and so on or foul up NT8. The system will instead appraise how NT8 is being used e.g. in Sim mode or live mode/eval mode and then look at your ATS licenses and if it cant reconcile a license to allow live account trading or eval trading or live performance account trading it will popup a message which can be saved and sent to support to work out – if the evaluation provider is supported or live licenses are applicable and work out a plan from there. Going forwards this approach will disable features after a timeout period etc. This way there is time for all to get it organized.

How to upgrade from AFT7 to AFT8

  • Upgrade fees are for those traders who did not subscribe to the optional annual maintenance which provides upgrade assurance for AFT7 to AFT8
  • This includes all prior customers who bought AFT7 from the prior exclusive reseller “Omegavus Trading LLC”

Customers who bought the AFT Ultimate reserved access to the AFT8 when launched and do not need to upgrade it was included. However your AFT licenses will need migrating to the new system so that you can use AFT8 on live trading and get the ultimate features. AFT8 Update release v20230524

AFT8 Update Released AFT8 Version 2023.5.24.2 This is running on the algo server and in a soak test mode – no filters all signals 100% fully mode with a variety of modes – running here in the live market as shown in the attached image in the futures trading group

Note Version info… This is the last planned release before the official release… need to asses feedback from users prior to rolling to the officical RC1 version. so far we are on and going forwards unless someone feedsback with a show stopper.. The RC1 update which is likely to follow this release say for next week – will include a login and ATS Desktop Control Center – the plan to combine all the AFT,AWT,AST into 1 control center – this will replace the AWT Desktop. So 1 login to web or desktop 1 app for all.

Updating You can simply run the same installer in your downloads folder or get it again from the trading system downloads page: This installer never changes, its job is to get the latest AFT8 version out the clouds and install it. So once you have it you dont need to download again… AFT8 App updates will also popup a notification and allow in place installation on your PC assuming there is no overzealous Antivirus running to block it.

Notes:
1) Workspaces were pruned down to make it easier and templates – workspaces are “lite” by default via removal of high intensity cpu memory market grid for trendometer. The 2 tested working turnkey workspaces are: Turnkey Workspaces – semi/fully modes can be implemented
Baseline versions for manual, semi auto hybrid trading and fully automated testing/ tweaking to your tailor fitted versions.

2)Algo entry and Algo trade manager was split into 2 parts – this allows 1 or many algos on the same account and instrument and 1 or many trade managers on 1 account instrument so allow quick switching of modes of use or blending combinations and rules.

3)The Keltner FibGrid – we evolved a classic by combining our proprietary “Fib Grid” into a keltner band so the grid/is moving and anchored to the mid bad.. this can be seen in workspace “AFT8-Trend-Scalper-1000A” for those traders experienced with divergence you can see some setups at the extremes as well as other patterns and trend bias filtering.

4)Trade Manager – the trailing stops have been reworked so that lastTrailstop has the same parameters available as the initial trailing stop. Also the layout and grouping has been reworked plus additional functions for exits and filter control from the algo controller GUI in realtime..
